This exclusive tour enables our Guests to thoroughly explore the Amalfi Coast. At a leisure pace, our Guests can explore four of the most well known and spectacular villages of the Amalfi Coast: Sorrento, Positano, Ravello and Amalfi. At the completion of this private full day tour, our Guests will feel like the locals and have photos and memories that last a lifetime. 

                                                                                      Overview:
Waiting on the dock in which your ship will tender to, at the time of your preference, will be your professional, English speaking, driver - guide. Holding a sign with your group's name, your driver - guide will escort you to your private, clean, late - model, waiting vehicle. Sit back and relax in the comfort of your private vehicle as you travel to the most "spectacular scenery in the world."  

Your tour begins as you leave Sorrento and travel along the Bay of Naples enroute to the seaside town of Positano. Be sure to have your camera ready as each twist and turn in the road brings a new spectacular view. Your driver - guide will make as many photostops as you wish, especially to be in awe of the dolomite cliffs which tower straight up from the sea and form Sorrento's Coastline. Upon your arrival in Positano, you will have approximately 2 hours to explore this picturesque seaside town know for the white homes that line the cliffs and the fishing boats anchored just off shore. The options are endless. You may choose to shop for art, visit designer boutiques, dine at a seaside restaurant, or simply listen as the waves come to shore.

Amalfi, a Moorish-style resort town that overlooks the Bay of Salerno, will be your next town to explore for approximately 2 hours. Wander through narrow alleyways lined with shops and boutiques and take time to tour the Cathedral of St. Andrew. Located in the heart of the town in Piazza del Duomo, this 11 century historical site features a black and white facade and mosaics in addition to bronze doors and and a bell tower dating to the 13th century.

Nested on a hilltop 350 Meters above sea level, with its spectacular views, is Ravello. Home to the Cathedral of San Pantaleone and its arcitechural treasures, Ravello has been the inspirational village for authors, artists, and leaders of government. Take approximately 2 hours to explore this charming town at your leisure.

Upon your arrival back in Sorrento, your driver - guide will give you a tour of the town where Romans found inspiration for their artistic trade. After the completion of your brief tour, your driver - guide will escort you to the main square or drive you to the dock where you can take the tender back to your cruise ship.

Depending on time and the pace of the tour in which you set, your driver - guide may take you "off the beaten path" to show you some of the Amalfi Coast's lesser known towns. Since this is a private tour, you may decide the amount of time in which you would like to spend in each village. 

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end, including your thorough exploration of the Amalfi Coast. As you are driven back to your ship, The Guest Planners Team hopes your tour was filled with amazement and memories that will last a lifetime. When you arrive at your cruise ship, although the tour may have come to an end, you will always be a part of The Guest Planners "Family." 

Our driver - guides have extensive knowledge and expertise of the history, customs, and culture of the Amalfi Coast in addition to the layout of the streets. Unlike the restrictions for large coach buses, your driver - guide will do his or her best to drive you in your private vehicle to as close to the villages' centers as allowed by law. Additionally, if you have any specific requests or you would prefer to focus your tour on a specific area, your driver - guide will do his or her best to accomodate your needs.

The tour can be customized to your preference. The order of the tour may be modified to maximize your time and enjoyment. While we will make every attempt to include all parts of the tour as listed above, there is the slight possibility that for reasons beyond our control,  an aspect of the tour will need to be skipped, replaced, or modified. We suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes and clothing as well as bringing sunscreen.
