ABOUT THE TOUR

Regardless of your love for nature or your age, the beauty and wildlife you experience on this tour will leave you with everlasting memories. Like all tours created by The Guest Planners, this tour is designed to ensure all members of your group have an incredible experience. Following the completion of your thrilling Everglades Experience, Guests will have the option of shopping at the largest Outlet Mall in South Florida, Sawgrass Mills Mall, or experiencing the spectacular Botanical Gardens and Wildlife Sanctuary at Flamingo Gardens.

Your tour begins at the time you designate as well as at the location of your choice. You will be greeted by your driver or guide and escorted to your waiting private van or bus. The driver will load all luggage into the vehicle and you will soon be on your way to the Florida Everglades, a vast nature wonderland like you have never seen before. Where alligators sunbath and hawks soar overhead as your airboat glades over the water. Where turtles swim and birds twerp as your Professional Gladesman shows you how to turn Sawgrass into a bandaid. Where with each turn comes a new surprise and each trail comes an educating experience as you create fun filled everlasting memories.

During the 45 minute drive to the Everglades, your driver or guide will provide insightful information about Florida and the Everglades. Relax as you drink your complementary bottle of water and watch the landscape change from commercial, to residential, to the vast Everglades.

Upon our arrival, your driver or guide will escort you to the airboat for a thrilling 30 to 35 minute airboat ride. The captain of the boat is a Gladesman with extensive knowledge of the Florida Everglades, Nature, and the Environment. Watch as the Gladesman safely and magically steers the airboat around hammocks as you glide over Sawgrass. Watch as the Gladesman turns the tour into an interactive experience, showing you how to eat Sawgrass and create a bandaid. Watch as nature passes you bye as you relax in the heart of the Everglades.

Following the airboat ride, spend an hour touring, interacting with, and becoming more familiar with the exotic repitles and creatures of the Florida Everglades. Take photos of you holding a baby alligator. See a Florida Panther, a Bobcat and Black Leopards up close. See Peacocks spread their feathers as you feed the animals. See a professional caretaker interact with alligators.

After your tour of the grounds, members of your group will have the option of going to two different paradises: A Shoppers Paradise or a Natures Paradise.

For those interested in going to a Shoppers Paradise, the van or bus will take you to Sawgrass Mills Mall, Florida's largest retail and entertainment center. With over 350 name-brand stores and outlets as well as full-service restaurants and entertainment venues, Sawgrass Mills Mall offers something for the enjoyment of the entire family.

For those interested in going to a Natures Paradise, the van or bus will take you to Flamingo Gardens, Florida's extremely popular 60-acre Botanical Gardens and Wildlife Sanctuary. Relax in a tranquil setting as you view  the largest collection of Champion Trees in Florida, smell the diverse aroma of flowers, view the 60 different types of citrus, tour the Historic Wray Home to discover what living  in the 1930s was like, and discover more than 70 species of birds and wildlife which call the Flamingo Gardens Home. Included in this excursion is a 25 minute narrated tour by tram which take you through 55-acres of citrus groves, naturalized wetlands, and a stately 200-year old oak hammack.

After your tour of the grounds, we will board the van or bus to pick up Guests who went to the "Shoppers Paradise" and then be enroute to the final destination of your choice. The Guest Planners will be happy to drive you to Fort Lauderdale Airport, Miami International Airport, to any hotel or back to the port.
